About UsWe are here to help you learn more about the dance drugs that are common at local raves and clubs. Hopefully, learning about the dangers of these drugs will help to create a more positive vibe, and maybe even save some lives in the process. Look for us at the HHRP booth at local events. Pick up our information and feel free to ask us anything you want to know about dance drugs, alcohol, safer sex and how to stay safe and healthy throughout the night. We provide honest, accurate and unbiased information, and are not here to pass judgment on anyone's activities. Our HistoryHHRP began in the middle of February 2000. The group came together after much discussion on the Houston raves (HRAVES) mailing list and the Houstonraves.com discussion boards. It had been a general consensus among many people that Houston needed some form of harm reduction group activity in its scene. Instead of waiting for something to happen, five of us got together to begin what is now known as the Houston Harm Reduction Project, or HHRP. We all believe that we can and will make a difference in the Houston rave scene. If you would like to help out, click on the 'Join' link above and read through the member guidelines. |
